Where should the Obama ranch be located?
We all know about the Reagan ranch and the George Jr. pig farm, but where should Obama set up his photo op ranch? I saw a photograph of him in a Steson and he looked pretty good in it!

2. Won't it be in Chicago? I'd think he'd go back to home town.. OR
maybe he'll go out to Hawaii, our foreign dignitaries would love his "non-working" ranch to be out there, I'm sure.

4. Level GITMO and make a pineapple farm
Actually, a Hawaii retreat might be nice.

Anywhere that drives the neocons into a massive heart attack would be fine with me.

5. let's get RID of that old prop as well and start new
Does Obama even ride? That would be the reason for owning a *ranch*, isn't it? In a time when thousands of people are losing their jobs and homes, I think it would be so WRONG for this president to buy something that would scream *elitist* as much as a *ranch* would.

Hell, there's always Camp David if they need a break from Washington.

7. He's the Prez,...
...so whereever he wantss it to be. I'll be delighted for him and the family regardless.

IL & HI would be logical, however.

PEACE!

10. Both Reagan and Bush were millionaires and republicans, so having a ranch
...was a necessary part of their image.

I don't recall Bill and Hillary Clinton having anything as ostentatious as a ranch or large estate, but I could be wrong. Carter had a peanut farm in Georgia, I remember that, Ford did not have anything like that. Nixon had San Clemente CA and his Key Biscayne FL estate or rather closed barrier fortresses.

So? Obama and Michelle will have the White House and whatever they call home back in Chicago. Has George Soros donated a couple of hundred acres for the Obama's somewhere?

14. Obama became a millionare when he wrote his autobiographies.
He could cut down brush in the Chicago forest preserves. That would be funny.

13. Obama's not a rich boy with an estate in Kennebunkport,
a ranch in Santa Barbara, a compound in Hyannis, or a brush farm in Texas. Carter and Clinton used to relax at Camp David, and I think that was a good tradition.
