His strengths right now are that he speaks plainly about the war, in simple declarative English, and he makes a nice appearance. His stances on social issues won't cut it for crossover votes, unless he managed to run against a Democrat who wanted to put two hundred thousand more troops on the ground...and that's unlikely. Still, he's one of the stronger looking players on the GOP side.

What's our mission??? It keeps changing. We went from "finding WMD" to "finding WMD-related program activities" to, uh, "bringing democracy" to "promoting stability" and we haven't managed to do any of them or the goalpost-moving bullshit missions in between.

We need to get out of there, and admit we never should have gone in there in the first place.
