Bush: 'I regret saying some things I shouldn't have said'
NEW YORK (CNN) -- As his presidency nears its end, a reflective President Bush suggested Tuesday that he regrets some of his more blunt statements on the war on terrorism over the last eight years and said he wishes he had not spoken in front of a "Mission Accomplished" banner only a month after U.S. troops in Iraq were deployed.

8. just to be clear - he does not regret anything he DID
like lying the country into war or giving massive tax breaks to the wealthy. Only some of the things he SAID. He may have a point though. If he could take back just one thing he said, it would make everything okay. Just go back in time and stop yourself from saying this:

"I announce my candidacy for President of the United States"

I certainly regret the fact that you ever said that, Mr. Bush. I, and about 70% of the country.

11. One Million + Iraqis dead probably as many injured, US deaths close to 5000, and
injured kept under wraps as well as the flag draped coffins, environmental catastrophy, financial disaster loading future GENERATIONS with debt, Gitmo, billion dollar rewards to Bush's criminal 'base', and the list goes on & on. Katrina, Galveston, middle class pushed to the next rung down,& absolutely NOTHING done to aid or secure the interior structure of this great nation.
And George asshole Bush regrets a damned banner??

...we could cite the gutting of the US Constitution and civil rights brought on by the desire of a mofia-like organization to grab the prize of the US Treasury.

Human life meant nothing, nor did National Security. The US is severely weakened and George A. (sshole) Bush regrets a f*cking banner.
