Are You Still Smiling?
This is the way my Dad and I greet each other on each phone conversation now.

"Are you still smiling?"

"Hell yeah!" - me

"Oh yes!" - Dad

Are YOU still smiling 8 days post-election? I know I am!

4. I've developed a sort of OCD. I keep checking
to see if Obama's still our president elect. Like that it really happened & I didn't dream it or make it up. This happens 10 times a day.

8. Smiling, crying, laughing.
Hell Yeah!

Every so often, I have to say it out loud just cause I want to hear the words...

President Barack Obama!

Damn it sounds good.

10. It's sickening.
I'm even happy in my sleep, which used to be tormented. 'President Obama!'

12. I Think About The Gravity Of It All And Jump Up And Down A Little Or Smile Several Times Every
single day!

This is not leaving me any time soon.

Most important election of our lifetime. Huge victory. 8 years of sheer hell becoming history. Unfrigginreal.

15. I'd like to, but my mother can't get healthcare (even tho she has insurance) & it is threatening...

...her life.

We HAVE to start taking better care of our elderly and disabled citizens, and provide full, single-payer healthCARE (including therapy and long-term care for the disabled) to EVERY American.

So I would like to feel happy, but under the circumstances, I spent most of this evening in tears.
