I've gotta' admit...

...that I have come to enjoy DU very much. Despite my post-count, I rarely, if ever, have anything of value to add, but I sure do enjoy the conversation around this place.

I'm gonna' donate a star to someone as my small effort of support.

6. I don't post as much as I used to. I enjoy reading more now.

There are certain messages I reinforce when I can, but I also enjoy learning what lots of different kinds of people think.

7. Me too... funny, that...

I have come to an age in life where I feel more inclined to listen than to post.

I earned my BA in History back in 1991, retired 15 years later, and am now almost done with an MA in History.

The first time through I loved to hear the sound of my own voice...this time through I have listened a great deal more.

8. We can only hope that all of us will grow in such a manner.

Maybe that will result in a day in which everyone is listening to everyone else so, THEN, also will everyone SPEAK mindfully.

One of th other things I like about DU is that (despite the fact that people post under usernames) I get to hear and speak to folks that I would NEVER have had the chance to "hear"/speak-to otherwise.
