Rush actually said that, if Valerie weren't married, he'd go after her, no matter what her politics. He sounded quite smitten.

I heard this on a promo for his show, on our local right-wing radio station.

Yeah, she's stunning, no doubt about that. Also, her testimony makes great TV and THAT is scary for the RW pundits. "How", they ask, "can we dilute the real information here". Normally they might belittle the source by calling her unpatriotic or, were she less attractive, belittling some aspect of her looks. If she were a housewife and not a career woman that might come up. Her morality might be question were she not so happily married. Valerie Plame Wilson is obviously an accomplished, intelligent, courageous woman. She's also lovely, but the way she looks is dwarfed by what's on the inside. I don't know her, but I would bet that one of the things that attracted her to her husband is the fact he has similar qualities. Somehow, I'm thinking she'd never be interested in dating what she'd consider an intelligence-free zone like yourself.
