Jack Cafferty's 4:00 question .....

"What should be the top priority for Democrats: investigating the Bush administration or solving domestic problems?"

That's it, Jack?

You only give us two choices?

The last six years has been one big rolling cluster fug and that's it? I realize "investigating the Boosh administration" could cover a lot of ground but why not investigate the whole rethuglican apparatus starting with Katherine Harris and the Y2K Florida selections conspiracy?

1. Would they not be the same?
Or, I believe as intellectually curious liberals, both can be number one priorities and addressed appropriately. I say there is no reason whatsoever to stop investigating the crimes of the president of the United States.

2. Bush says how dare you take money from his war for domestic problems!
Bush has the veto pen. How exactly are the Democrats supposed to solve anything with Bush standing in the way?

4. Well, aren't we lucky that Democrats can walk and chew gum at the same time!!
They can do BOTH.

6. I think Jack's being lazy today
That's a silly question. Hell, not every Congressman and Senator is going to be involved in investigating the crime family, albeit that is a very large task.

7. That's a real Sophie's Choice.
They are both important. Maybe Jack had too much Saint Paddy's day.
