And you thought the racism and ageism during the election was bad!

The guy hasn't even been inaugurated yet and all we see on DU is what a sellout he is. Let's just continue to underestimate the black guy. Never mind the fact that his detractors said he could never get elected and that his supporters have been vindicated. Never mind the fact that the last two boomer-approved Democratic candidates flopped badly and that "President Gore" would have given us fucking "Vice President Joe Lieberman"!

Those dumb kids obsessed with Obama's "cult of personality" have saddled us with a "center right President" who is beholden to his corporate masters. At least that's the message I get from reading DU these days. :eyes:

1. Summers, Geithner, Clinton, the Citi-Corp bail-out

the size of the bail-out. Have you read Naomi Klein's Shock Doctrine. If you had, you might understand our concern. I like some of his appointments very much, but I'm not so sure about others. I like Richardson, have no problem with Daschle and I like the women that Obama selected for his economic team. I have heard that Obama is considering naming one of the co-conspirators on the torture scheme as CIA chief. I do not like that. I hope that rumor is not true. So, I'm just in a wait and see state. I think a lot of DUers are. It's too soon to judge Obama. For one thing it is hard to know which of Bush's decisions Obama agrees with and which not.
