President-Elect Obama Condemns Attacks. Death Toll Now 101
Source: dailykos

President-elect Barack Obama led global condemnation of grenade and gun assaults in India’s financial hub of Mumbai, the third major terrorist attack targeting foreigners in South Asian nations this year.

The U.S. will work "with India and nations around the world to root out and destroy terrorist networks," Obama’s transition team said in a statement. Gunmen raided Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel and the Oberoi Trident and carried out attacks across the city that killed 101 people. ...

"President-elect Obama strongly condemns today's terrorist attacks in Mumbai, and his thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the people of India. These coordinated attacks on innocent civilians demonstrate the grave and urgent threat of terrorism. The United States must continue to strengthen our partnerships with India and nations around the world to root out and destroy terrorist networks. We stand with the people of India, whose democracy will prove far more resilient than the hateful ideology that led to these attacks," said Brooke Anderson, Chief National Security Spokesperson.

jokes and being silly during one of the worst economic crisis in our history. The only one acting like POTUS is POTUS Elect. Is there any way we can get him in there before the 20th, before goofball does something stupid??? Ahh, guess not. But, if you think of anything, shout if from the mountain-tops!
Edit: for the suggestion of a loophole based on incompetence or insanity?

6. Wasn't his response to go to Camp David?
It is a holiday, after all.

Yes, Obama is stepping up, and it really seems like Dubya is relieved and ready to flee.
