No closed-door hearings, even if they are under oath.
Edited on Tue Mar-20-07 03:24 PM by The Backlash Cometh
I'm sick, sick, sick and tired of the special treatment that these crony capitalist are getting. They do EVERYTHING behind closed doors. That's how they keep doing illegal shit in our communities, in our cities, in our state government and in our nation, and still end up walking around like they're role models for the rest of us.

It's time to restore balance to our nation. Bring down to earth these entitled good ole boys. Let them understand that there were always limits to what they could do, and they decided to take a risk to go over the edge, so now they have to answer to the people.

To allow them to their private session, will give them the freedom to rewrite what was said. We'll have a he said, he said situation which Fox News can continue to exploit, and continue to keep the information and the nation divided.

This is a farce. It should only make us angrier.

2. The nice (and sexy sounding) lady at Leahy's office
said that he had not taken the offer for the closed door, no oath, no transcript deal and she giggled when I went into my minute long rant.
I think that this was the opening offer and will be rejected. If the dems fold, I'm gonna scream, but I think that they know they have the bushies against the ropes and might fight for once.

3. I'll be more angrier at the Dems for buckling, than I was with the Alito
situation. This issue of running government in secret. behind closed doors, cuts to the core of all our problems in America.

8. Phone call
I called Schumer's office and told the phone person that I will be pissed if the Dems fold on this one. This offer is bullshit. I think this offer is going to backfire. These fuckers are running scared.
