Poll question: Will Congressional Dems back down on issuing subpeonas to Rove and Miers?
Bush has flatly stated that he will oppose such subpeonas. Will our Dems show some spine?

7. History suggests they will cave- but more recent history shows a vestigal spine forming.

I hope & pray they will fight him, but if I had to make a prediciton, I would say that the DLC and conservative DEMS will lead the usual cave-in.

9. This Country & ALL It's Leaders Is A JOKE!!
Of course they'll back down. They're Democrats after all.

Besides, what choice do we have? We're not going to suddenly start supporting repubs, so why should they care what we think?

10. Let's each send the Democrats one Tums with calcium...
...the message being that, because dealing with the Bushistas is, at times, a stomach-turning business, here's some indigestion medicine and spinal support for you.

11. Other: I can only assume they will back down because...
I around a year ago, contacted one of my senators, about something, assuming they would look into a corruption issue I had raised in Miami. And that same senator is on the MSM media; as being a bull dog Congressional investigator.

But, I can only assume he will do, what they will do over the Plume scandal, just give lip service to the issue and file a bunch of papers, looking as if they are concerned.

I can say this -- also -- by looking at the nature of the current Congressional investigations; all show no substance. If they really want to get to the root of the Libby/Plame Affair; they have to start by dragging any one that is now, or has ever been a member of the PNAC, into public Congressional hearings only.
