2. I love fashion sketches
I think Michelle would look great in red. I like this one but without the top ruffle:

9. Yeah, let's not dress her up like a Disney villain.
Now don't get me wrong, they tend to look fabulous, but that whole Cruella DeVille thing is just not the look she should be going for.

8. Periwinkle! Tracy Reese's dress is # 1 for me
Edited on Wed Dec-03-08 03:43 PM by eowyn_of_rohan
My top 4 (as if anyone cares -lol):
Tracy Reese for Michelle Obama. #18 periwinkle
followed by...
Michael Kors #14 royal blue
Isaac Mizrahi #1 magenta
Diane Von Furstenberg #8 white

I really hope she wears something in the blue family... She wore a (bad) red dress for Barack's acceptance speech, and that color is so strongly associated with Repubs. Time for Michelle to wear blue, and periwinkle is one of the best blue hues for her.

12. The lighter, intense colors set off her dark skin beautifully
REmember how she looked in the turquoise, Maria Pinto dress she wore during the campaign?

14. I like the Mizrahi dress, too. Red is really Michelle's color.
The Lacroix was also gorgeous, but I don't know about black for a celebration of this magnitude.
