1. I don't know about the elderly and disabled
but this seems specifically designed to help terrorists avoid weapons screening. I'm betting you could get that through airport security without an eyeblink.

3. hmmm, you're right. Looks mostly plastic.
And like it's meant to help with an asthma attack.

2. If I'm reading the article correctly, this hand gun is listed as a medical device.

4. Just what we need. More unstable people with guns. "Get off my lawn, you pesky kids..."
"...or I'll put a cap in your ass."

7. I can see someone mistaking this for their albuterol
inhaler. Not good for the user. :dilemma:

8. For families dealing with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia in the elderly,
Edited on Thu Dec-04-08 03:56 PM by enough
the issue of firearms is a major problem. Many elderly people (mostly men) really value their connection with their firearms for hunting and self-defense. But when Alzheimer's enters the picture, especially with the increased paranoia and irrational rage that goes along with it, the family faces a crisis that can be even more difficult than the crisis of taking away the car.

Bringing a new gun into the picture, especially one that doesn't look like a gun, could do nothing to help this problem.
