So there were gun and bomb threats at school today

and it is clear that we are definitely not ready in case something really big happens.
They locked down two buildings.
The rest of the classes were open.
Hundreds of people were walking around campus, including me.
I didn't even know about it until after it was over.
There is even a texting program that the school has in place that is supposed to send out a mass text in case something like this happens, and no one got a text.
I really hope something big doesn't happen, because we obviously need to work on it.

1. You need to make sure you can protect yourself.

Always be aware of your surroundings and have a way of protecting yourself. Even if it's just pepper spray. Don't rely on the school for your safety.

3. It is unfortunate but

that's how it is. You must take care of yourself and your security. It's not that bad though. Just be aware and you'll be fine.

4. I would be aware

but no one told me until after it was over. That makes it a little difficult...I just wish someone would have told me so I could of at least gone inside a building.
