Did Chris Wallace really give Ron Howard grief for comparing Bush to Nixon?
(Ron Howard is the producer of the Frost/Nixon movie that is getting rave reviews)

1. I would agree that Bush is not really like Nixon.
Nixon was a much better president in many ways. Bush is the worst president in US History.

Ron Howard found himself in the hot seat after a recent Washington screening of "Frost/Nixon." Washington Post legend/Watergate survivor Ben Bradlee reportedly sat grim-faced through the movie, then declared " never should have let him apologize in the film. Nixon was never sorry for what he did." Fox newsman Chris Wallace then upbraided Howard personally after the director likened Nixon to President Bush.

I don't recall Nixon ever apologizing. I guess Frost will be the last word on that. He either did or didn't during the interviews.

As for the Nixon/Bush comparison, I'll have to find out Howard's reasons. Perhaps he has a list. They both certainly believed in the unitary executive. Hmmm... Maybe Wallace thought the better comparison is Nixon/Cheney? :D
