if Pakistan "doesn't act quickly". They just added to his quote..."This is India's 9-11. We were angry after 9-11" Went onto say that basically that no one has business telling India what NOT to do in retaliation.

Per CNN-IBN livestream

http://ibnlive.in.com/videos/video_streaming.php

They've shown this twice in the last 30 minutes. I wanted to rewatch the clip before posting here so I got the comment correct. They are replaying it when they do their "latest headline segments" so it should be on again at some point.

WTF?? Does he not have, oh, Arizona-related work to do after the last 2 years of running for Prez?? Instead he is over there adding fuel to the fire.

Then there was Rice's comment:

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Rice_to_Pakistan_Act_now_else_US_will_act/articleshow/3801376.cms

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has told Pakistan that there is "irrefutable evidence" of involvement of elements in this country
in the Mumbai terror attacks and it had no option but to act urgently "otherwise, the US will act.

on edit:
His comment in print

http://www.hindu.com/2008/12/07/stories/2008120757500100.htm

United States Senator John McCain has said there is enough evidence of the involvement of former Inter-Services Intelligence officers in the planning and execution of the Mumbai attacks.

If Pakistan did not act swiftly to arrest the people involved, the Senator said, India would be left with no option but to conduct aerial operations against select targets in Pakistan.

He said if Pakistan did not act to get the “bad guys,” India would have no option but to use force.

“We were angry after 9/11. This is India’s 9/11. We cannot tell India not to act when that is what we did, asking the Taliban to hand over Osama Bin Laden to avoid a war and waging one when they refused to do so,” Mr. McCain said.

An official statement of Mr. Gilani’s meeting with the Senator said he had assured him that his government was determined to fight terrorism and had offered India all help in the Mumbai attacks.

And look who was with him on his trip there...Lieberman

1. A limited nuclear exchange of no more than 14 nukes would cause a Nuclear Winter.
And then we wouldn't have to worry about Global Warming anymore, would we?

Start buying canned goods and iodine pills now.

5. Exactly, and since Obama isn't sworn in yet, and W* is busy
fondly reminescing about his perfect two terms (except for that pesky error-ridden WMD report), we are all left with a vacuum instead of hands-on leadership. McWar knows this and finds it easy to throw his two cents in.

is Rice suggesting that the U.S. will act? Can't we let India overreact to their own 9-11? Do we really need to nose in on everyone else's 9-11s? Wasn't ours good enough?

7. perhaps India will look at how *well* our reaction to 9-11 has gone for us, and decide not to attack
It is a pretty good possibility that our wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have destroyed America. Goodness knows Afghanistan bled Russia badly and contributed to its demise as a super power. Perhaps it will do the same to us.
