Mortgage Loan guy on the radio every night advertising all the great home loans or refinancing deals he has at 4.75%. Why am I still getting credit card offers? Why did my credit card company send me those blank checks for cash? Why are the big banks still gobbling up all the small local banks?

If you want to be out for life, you have to print out a form and mail it in
as I have chosen.

Edit: Sorry, choose the mail in option.

3. I don't give a damn about the offers, I just toss them in the
trash. The point is I thought there was a credit crisis and we couldn't buy anything on credit. I understand people can't get financing for cars? I open up the paper every night and read ads from car dealers offering great loan rates, rebates and employee prices and financing. I can go to my bank and walk out with a car loan in a few minutes. Maybe if these people that can't get a loan shouldn't be buying stuff first place.

5. I don't toss them in the trash. I just tear them up into little tiny pieces
and mail them back in the post-paid envelopes. They have finally gotten the message and I haven't received any more.

2. I'm not sure, but I have heard that if you have a really good cr. score (700+)
you can still get almost any loan or credit card you want. Last weekend, a show called "Your Money" or "In the Money" or something like that on cnn had a real estate advisor on who was saying if your score is really good, now is the time you could find some great deals in RE.

We have GREAT CREDIT, and we were thinking about moving closer to our son since my husband retired at the end of October this year, but we would have to sell our current house first, and I think it would be foolish to even try right now.

4. Looking for those last few suckers
to buy into the Ponzi schemes. What you're seeing is the last gasps of a way of life that is quickly withering. Some of these are ads that were paid for long ago, some are simply desperate efforts to keep the money flowing because if it stops (and it is stopping) those companies are screwed.
