I keep wondering if it will make it to $1 - I kind of doubt it but it sure would be nice.

1. I seem to recall
that around here the raising and dropping of gas prices was some sort of evil repub plot to ensure McCain's victory.

2. On CNBC a few minutes ago, the anchor (Erin Burnett) asked someone (expert of some kind) why
should we bother with developing alternative fuels when oil is so cheap? Arrgghhhh. Luckily, the person's answer was smart - re doing the things now that we should have been doing for the past 30 years or more.

It was kind of a slap your forehead, jaw-drop moment when Erin asked that question - because, of course, we can count on oil staying low forever and it having no impact on the climate or the funding of terrible regimes around the world.

Talk about not remembering history - how about not even remembering 6 months ago.

3. Better enjoy it!
Supplies are being pinched further by the big guys. I'm guessing we may be near the bottom on the prices. (We're still in the $1.50's here in coastal SC.)

5. Enjoy it
While you enjoy your 1.32 gas now, alternative energy projects are being killed and oil supplies are being shuttered. So while cheap gas is nice now, we will pay the price in the not so distant future.
