The Goose that Laid the Golden Age -- the story of our economy.
A man and his wife owned a very special goose. Every day the would lay a golden egg, which made the couple very rich.

"Just think," said the man's wife, "If we could have all the golden eggs that are inside the goose, we could be richer much faster."

"You're right," said her husband, "We wouldn't have to wait for the goose to lay her egg every day."

So, the couple killed the goose and cut her open, only to find that she was just like every other goose. She had no golden eggs inside of her at all, and they had no more golden eggs.

Too much greed results in nothing.

Manufacturing overseas, out-sourcing jobs, all to grab a bigger margin of profit, and look where it landed us.

I'm sure that the folks in India and the Philippines and China and elsewhere are delighted -- but how are they going to feel next year when they, too, are out of jobs.

You see, these companies are not paying the employees in the third world countries enough to permit them to buy the products they are producing for the prices that those companies were able to charge here. And they can't sell products in the quantities that could sell them here. They have killed the goose that laid their golden eggs. We will survive and they will never learn unless we make sure they are brought to answer for having killed the goose in the first place. The fraud and illegal financial transactions should all be prosecuted.

2. The Chinese are investing in infra-structure to enhance their domestic markets.
Roads, transportation, education, etc.

While we throw money at the banks and failed industries.

We had the golden egg now we're getting the goose in the ass.
