6. Doesn't surprise me
Investors were expecting a return on GM.

It doesn't matter to investors whether the money comes from the government or consumers, they were just waiting to see if they'd get money.

Than a dejected losing party form a hard and absolutely unified front against a newly powerful and popular government trying to turn around a disastrous race into the abyss ....

I dont think they will be successful in many filibuster efforts .... They are emasculated ....

But then, you probably think you'll be the one molecule of water in the bathtub that doesn't get swept down the drain? Sure.

Everybody in the waves of losses before this thought they were immune too. But you seem like one of those "self-made" people who knows it all, so live it up while you can.

And I'll bet your so-called skills are quite worthless to anything actually productive (unlike those "manufacture goons"). Just a hunch.

it was a loan. Of course the market is going to tank if a major industry in this country goes down the tubes. I'm sure GM will be fine in the other 34 countries they are located. Maybe Americans can go there and work. What corporation do you work for, and where are they hiring?

But lest anyone think it's because he's afraid of tens of thousands losing their jobs...no, it's to polish whatever is left of the sorry, fly-blown turd that is his administration. Just doesn't want to go out knowing he's finally killed off the American economy.

ON EDIT: Are any economic reports due out tomorrow morning? If so, fasten the seat belts.

If the markets totally tank tomorrow and stay down, Shrub may feel the need to bail out his buddies.

Hank Paulson might feel the same way, unless Goldman is shorting everything in sight.

Dollar tanking, too. Yen under 90 and Euro at 133.
