i'm sorry there is consensus across the political spectrum -- across the financial spectrum
to bring down the wages of ALL american workers.

it's the basis for cheap products in walmart -- it's the basis for the failure of the big 3 bailout -- it's the basis for the success of the financial bailout.

and it isn't only the repukes to blame -- you might want that to be so but reality bites.

2. Mission accomplished.
Salaries are falling yet productivity is off the charts.

They are making sure we don't share a cent of the newfound wealth.

Fuck them and the goldplated limo they rode in on.

7. Americans love their cheap junk. Let the country go to hell, let people be
homeless and hungry, just give 'em their cheap junk.

8. no, corporations love big profits.
and CEO salaries and bonuses are obscene.

you can blame the consumers if you wish, but THAT is reality.

9. Hardly. If that were the case we'd still have Mom & Pop grocery
stores and drug stores and hardware stores and you get my drift. But no. We have Wal-Mart.

Americans love their cheap junk.

And you are seriously confused if you don't think that rampant consumerism of cheap crap hasn't had a devastating effect on this economy. Because Americans want to buy, get, and have BUT they don't want to pay what it would cost to keep Americans employed.

10. reality says differently. but hell, you don't need no stinkin' reality.
Sorry, if what you claim was true, dems would have supported the repuke demands that auto workers take big cuts. they didn't.

13. Then let's face it
Why are Americans sending their kids to college? So they can work in McDonalds and Walmart? This is the America that the Repugs want, they want to make sure that no poor or what remains of the middle class through hard work can ever rise to the position of President of anything.

The Repuglicans are playing with fire and they have absolutly no clue what could possibly happen.
