6. Definitely. We're currently operating on our generator and haven't
seen anything resembling a sand or salt truck come up our road. We suspect it's because there are trees down. It was a hairy night in southern New Hampshire. You could hear large trees snapping and crashing throughout the night as the ice built up on them. Giant tree limbs came down all around our house, but it doesn't look like we have any damage. According to the news, a quarter of a million of us are without electricity. I guess it's minor as disasters go as long as you have heat. They've already opened shelters for those who don't. Once again I'm convinced the best purchase of our entire 30+ year marriage is our Kubota generator back in the 1980's.
