Want to know what average Americans feel about the auto bailout debacle
Edited on Fri Dec-12-08 07:17 AM by cali
of last night? Tune in to Washington Journal on C-Span. One caller just asked Why republicans are so against the American worker. Also said, "pure and simple this is a union issue". Another caller said that the repuke rejection of the loan, will exacerbate the economic meltdown. A republican caller just said that she is appalled and disgusted by Corker and Shelby and that they're just protecting foreign auto interests based in their states.

Tune in. It's quite interesting.

5. The wife of the steelworker: who makes your bullet-proof cars? You want Hundai?
She let 'em have it! Shelby, Corker, McConnell (an unholy trinity). The mothers better be glad there's no election Tuesday.

6. The only bright spot in any of this is that republicans have lost
the industrial midwest for generations to come,if not ever.

14. NASCAR Nation turns on the Republicons who have jerked them off
Edited on Fri Dec-12-08 08:02 AM by SpiralHawk
for 30 long years. Although the Republicons, and their propagandists like Limbaugh, O'Reilly, beck and Hannity have been screwing them for years, NASCAR Nation has been guzzling the kool-aid and Bending Over politely.

But no more? Are they really, finally getting a clue about what the 'elite' fatcat corporate republicons have been doing to them and their families?

Stay tuned.

15. I called
Senator Specter and basically said that I don't believe that it is right that they bail out the rich banks with no strings attached and are refusing to help American automakers. It didn't help but I called anyway!
