6. When Saturn goes under and the new VW plant in his hometown Chattanooga
can't get off the ground because there are no parts manufacturers, maybe his wage will be cut to nothing by Tennessee voters.

Somehow, though, being a Tennessean, I doubt it. With nothing but right-wing radio in the state, folks around here will be treated to all kinds of ridiculous spin that will make Corker look like some sort of hero.

11. "Conservatives" are unfortunately Born that way.. it isn't a Choice, they lack 'Fluidity' in their

thinking because of Organic physical deficiencies in essential cognitive structures of the brain.

i am beginning to think THEY need to be put in walled Reservations and prevented from breeding, its the only way to humanely deal with them. we are all Doomed if they are left to continue to F everything up and profit from it, they are obsessive compulsive and out of control.

18. This is what mystifies me the most: the Southern non-union factories NEED parts
Edited on Fri Dec-12-08 01:26 PM by alcibiades_mystery
And the parts suppliers will go under with the Big Three. It's an asinine strategy from an asinine group of jackasses.

5. Interesting that suddenly Republicans are all about interfering with
industry by fixing wages--isn't that a little bit...socialist or something? What's next, fixing the price of the cars?

7. Also, remember that the GOP was upset that the bank bailout terms
might have included rules about golden parachutes and bonuses and CEO pay--guess it's an OUTRAGE when CEO pay is "tampered with" by the government, but dictating what lowly hourly wage workers make--no problem.

and the ratio of executive to worker pay is higer in the US than other countries despite the UAW

I think I saw where he was part owner of Smart-Tech in Chatanooga.

You know, the outfit whose servers ran GOP.org, GWB3.com, ect.

16. As KO showed last nite, the Union is already in line with
the foreign car makers in US. If the interviewer had any clue at all, they would rip him a new one on it.
