So With The Failure Of Congress, The TARP Plan Might Be The Savior In All Of This.
Without the treasury stepping in with some TARP funds from the original bailout, GM would almost certainly have to file bankruptcy. There is much that will need to be done, but immediate assistance is mandatory. As of now it appears that immediate assistance will come from TARP.
So all I really need to say is: Thank God it passed...
