I wonder how many Republican Union members support the bailout plan?

I wonder how many Republican Union members support the bailout plan?
How many are willing to surrender wage concessions? How many want big brother to squash their contract in favor of foreign competitors.

as Repub union members? If there is such an animal, I'll bet they're rethinking their political affiliation now.

2. Yeah, about 30-35% of union members
And if you think about the demographics of most union members, it's impressive that they vote as Democratic as they do. Compared to the general population, they are more likely to be white men, have no college degree, and own guns, and more socially conservative. I interned at the AFL-CIO during college and they run an impressive program to convince their members to vote for candidates who support working families and unions rather than voting on social issues such as guns. I know they also did a huge program to try to address some of the race issues this year and convince members to vote for Obama, which obviously paid off.
