Since we now know how overpaid auto workers are...
Can somebody please figure out how much Senators make per hour?

be sure to add in:
salary
health benefits
daily per diem
food allowance
business expenses
travel expenses
payoffs from lobbyists
etc. etc. etc.(I'm sure if one were to dig deeper into this there are all kinds of perks that we don't know about)

then divide it by the hours they ACTUALLY work

1. They are some of the highest paid legislators in the world. I suggest they bring their salaries in
line with the rest of the legislators. You know, so they stay viable.

Assuming they actually work 40 hrs/wk 52 wks/yr.

8. They shouldn't be paid these exhorbitant salaries and benefits in this horrible economy.
It's time to end their pensions and healthcare. It's only right. After all, like they say about the big three, it's just not possible to afford that these days.
