Is anyone else tired of the kumbaya talk with the Republicans?

Last night, it became clear that reaching out to them doesn't work - it won't pull them out of their fascist goosestep. The only reason they even go through the motions is in order to lure us into letting down our guard so they could smile and stick yet another knife in our backs.

We tried working with them on an economic crisis. They said no. We made concessions. They demanded more. We made more concessions. They kept inventing reasons to reject the bailout. They made it perfectly clear by their actions that they were only going through the motions.

So why do we keep reaching out to them? It doesn't work. Attempting the same failed action with no change in results is the definition of insanity. It's clear that treating Republicans like reasonable human beings just gets us burned. The only thing that works is to shout them down, like we did on November 4th.

No, I'm not interested in kumbaya with the Republicans. I'm interested in fixing our country. And if anyone stands in our way, we should break them. If what it takes to get our agenda enacted involves destroying our enemies, seeing them driven before us and hearing the lamentations of their women, so be it! Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war!

I'd figured out by the age of four there was no way to play nicely with a mean little kid. It's high time our elected officials figured that out, too.

I want the new Congress, with all those Democrats, to put those fuckers in their place and keep them there. I want their pork projects to be put on a very high shelf and kept out of their reach until they fall in line.

I want Harry Reid to be banished to some faraway back bench where he'll have no more opportunity to weasel and cave. I want a Majority Leader with not only a spine of steel but the certain knowledge that if the Republicans bring a knife, the Democrats will bring a gun.

I want them stifled and punished, but with a smile. I want them to hurt the way they've hurt so many people. I want them to pay, and I want them to suffer.

You know, I thought I hated Chimpy Fucknuts more than I ever thought I was capable of hating. And, with Obama's stunning vctory and the total repudiation of everything Chimpy stood for, I really expected to be smug and happy and content, and I thought the hatred would go away. I thought I could let it go and just begin to enjoy an Obama administration.

But, I was wrong. I find that I hate Fucknuts more than ever, and these Republican Senators, ah, I have no words strong enough - I grew up in a home with two union-member parents - to express the depth of my contempt for them.

There better be a happy ending to all this, or else our country is lost.

I don't do Kumbaya with people I'd rather not share the planet with because they are so completely despicable, self-centered and anti-humanitarian.

The only reason Obama was my 5th choice is because he played too nice with them. I think even he is going to get tired of that. (BTW, I LOVE Obama, so please don't take that as an insult towards him).

they need to be hogtied and shown what works. negotiating with the scum on the right only serves to degrade our Country, our selves and waters down any real progress.

Maybe they really are stupid and evil enough that they are killing off their own party.
