K&B Toys massive layoffs-like *now*- BEFORE Christmas

My wife caught this on the local news (all Richmond stores shutting down).

I called one of the local stores looking for a bike for our daughter and asked about it.
The woman said that they had not gotten final notice yet. This was at about 1PM so they may be getting final notice right about now or soon.

:wow: a toy store that can't make it 12 more days before Christmas. Probably a line of credit thing.

Googled this but saw nothing on the news about it :shrug:

4. Aren't they pretty much going to liquidate in the wholesale market?

I would expect them to stop buying and let inventory go until Christmas but the local news report said that they would be shutting down like TODAY
