14. All right, then, keep complaining.
The Dems will not impeach until they have adequate evidence for it. There will be no impeachment until there are investigations, and even then it's unlikely. But seriously, there are more important issues than revenge on Bushco. Every man-hour spent on impeachment is a man-hour not spent on Iraq, healthcare, and the deficit.

15. I'm not asking for your permission.
There is adequate evidence for impeachment, and there have been investigations. Investigations continue. When did I shit in your Wheaties?

16. How do you see it?
I feel as though we are going quickly in the opposite direction. No matter what happens, no matter what he does, Bush gets away with it.

I thought the Libby thing would do it. Nope.
I thought the Attorney General thing would do it. Nope.
I thought the low approval ratings would do it. Nope.
I thought the "blank check for Iraq" would do it. Nope.

Please enlighten me. Is it a straw on the camel's back thing? Is there, someday, going to be one little thing that he does that makes people say: "that's it, he's gone too far."?

17. Well, you just said it.
It's like there's a lever we have to pull with a couple of people standing near it shouting "Don't pull the lever until the green light's on!" at everyone who comes near it. But the green light IS on, and no one will pull the lever. Pulling the lever is a simple action. Someone just needs to do it. I'm asking if anyone is going to yet, or are we going to keep staring at it, making the shouters think they've got more control than they do.

20. may I recomend a movie that may explain this
alliance building thing in detail?

Amazing Grace... trust me, once you leave the theater you will understand quite a bit more how the system works

There are some differences, after all Parlaiment is not the US Congress, but some things are jsut the same, and some... have not changed one iota in close to 200 years

21. That's the one with the guy who played Horatio Hornblower, right?
Yeah, I've been meaning to see it. Politics would make a fine game if it didn't destroy so many lives in the process.

26. Sorry, I meant the actor who played Horatio Hornblower in the BBC (I think) series.
He's got a Welsh name that's spelled differently than it's pronounced. I believe he's in the Amazing Grace you are talking about, and I believe he plays a lawyer. Anyway, I know one's a fictional character and the other's a dramatization of an actual case.
