I had a thought, if they held a dinner after the shoe toss, and if
shrub said that the steak had an equestrian flavor... it would be funny if the cameras panned down to Maliki's feet only to reveal that he was in his stockings.... heh.

1. That is an English Bull Terrier and I had the pleasure of being owned by one

This was my beloved Corey, she passed away July 14 at 14years/4months/5days, I miss her terribly. She had arthritis in her feet, she had little tumors forming all over her body, but she was a 3 year old in a clown suit.

2. You had fourteen years during which I am just about sure, every
time you came through the front door it was as if you were gone for a month. Dogs are cool that way, I am owned by an apple head chihuahua. She's getting up there but still plays like a pup... imaging a kernel of food to be an animal I guess that needs to be subdued prior to eating it... funny that.

6. If I might ask, after the grieving is over... do you plan on getting
some other canines to keep you company?? I can't imagine being without at least one of man's best friends around the house...

9. I cry as I type this, I miss them terribly, especially in the winter
when they would romp in the snow and have a ball until their paws were frozen. And they loved to be dried off with big beach towels.

10. I feel ya... I hope that the economy breaks wide open within the
next year and you move out of an apartment... and get a whole posse of them critters. I don't know where you live, and I don't know how work is where you are but check this so you will know it isn't as bad in "oil country" as it may be in many other parts of the nation... c'mon, the culture shock would do you good!!

3. What a cute dog.
I am glad you survived living with such a vicious killer. She looks very sweet.

4. They aren't pit bulls, very different breed
VERY affectionate, intelligent, and playful, and my baby LOVED oher dogs and kids. The 2006 Westminster Dog Show best in show was Rufus, just one of the most amazing and unbelivably aware dogs you could ever mee.

14. I have a bronze retriever who has a shoulder lump.
Think he is rott/retriever mix, 105# of fuzz and love. We just found a big lump on his shoulder, is either a torn muscle or a tumor. He's 11, turning grey, cataracts but still can see enough to chase deer out of the yard and get between the cats if he thinks they will fight.

Had a sib call one day in tears, pet guinea pig had died.

Having fuzzy friends, family, is a good thing but they just don't live long enough.

Best wishes to you.
