Lot's of FU's going around tonight ... Fuck's the word these days

FU, F-it, F-off, M-F. . . Is it really the correct word?

I find myself wishing I'd used another word sometimes. I wonder how we got to the point where we wish sex on the folks we're cursing.

I've met many folks from other countries who are driven mad by our dual usage and slang.

There really isn't a way you could possibly make words sound offensive, babylonsister.

compassionately, sometimes even happily, lovingly & often excitedly...a single word can & does have many meanings, Shalom, Aloha, or "Forget about it". (Obviously not a single word).

My point being, a single word can have many meanings....Still, it's only a word and is nothing more than a quick means of expressing ones self....I'm sure one wouldn't use the word, in let's say a church....nor in any other inappropriate situations or settings. (However, this is a free form expressive forum and man, were all happy about that) - Simply stated this is fucking politics & mostly more than appropriate....Fuck is a just a word, more than appropriate to display ones feeling...

I certainly can understand one using the word and I'm NEVER offended by it...and those that are can easily substitute the word "fudge" instead....Silly, because we all know fuck is what one really means....no exceptions.

Don't you semantically sensitive types ever move to Great Britain. I knew people who could go days without saying one other word and convey their thoughts clearly, could write full operas using ony the word "fuck" and I think I saw it on a menu once.

We do not hold a fucking candle to the fucking brits when it fucking comes to the fucking use of that fucking word. The fucks. ;-)

Usually and quite properly preceded by the word "FUCK", in it's many and varied permutations, but sometimes followed by it.

I assure you, Great Britain is no place for The Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Outrage, unless, of course, they were going there to cloister in the countryside.

I'm interested in the way the word has been changed and appropriated. I'm not usually outraged by words themselves -- mostly just concerning myself with the intent of whomever is spewing them.

I really don't believe that The Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Outrage would consider their own choice of language to be at any disadvantage over the repetitive usage of the -F- and -C- words by Brits.
