Site feature suggestion

Option for the Ignore functionality to do the following: stop displaying the posts tree when an ignored person posts. Kinda like your private subthread deletor. Example:

Me, I'd like to have it available. DU has one of the best forum user interfaces I've ever seen, it'd add nicely to the feature set.

I wish there were more forums FORMATTED like DU. The formatting of the interface alone is kind of addictive. I also have not seen anything as graphically rich as the DU.

a trans-forum perspective. Hence, I spend most of my time in Latest threads. It would be wonderful to have the opportunity to really research the development of discourse here.

since they can end up all over the place. It would be nice if new posts were bold. Of course the site would have to keep track of the state of the posts that were previously read for each user and I'm sure that would be resource intensive. Slashdot.org uses a similar threading style. Overall it works well but it is hard to find newer posts unless they are replying to the OP.

And yet it can easily be turned off for dialuppers. Without graphics, this is the fastest-loading site on the net. I can hardly stand to use any other site. I'm spoiled.
