1. sigh.
Everytime we hear that Franken is gaining, some setback occurs; like a Red county suddenly reporting in a bunch of new Coleman votes, or Franken underperforms in a Blue county. Amid all of these reports I have heard for a month and a half, I have yet to hear of one where Franken actually moves ahead of his opponent.

Remember that to win an election, you have to get more votes than your opponent. This "gaining" and "getting closer" stuff doesn't cut it.

2. Than you must have also missed the PROJECTIONS
of the AP, the Star Tribune, the StarTribune readers, Fivethirtyeight.com. Continue to be Mr Negative, but Franking will eventually be the winner.

4. That is because Coleman has a lot of challenged ballots that haven't been counted yet...
Most of Coleman's challenges are of Franken votes so as those are counted over the next couple of days Franken will gain fast, and most likely surpass Coleman. The reason Franken hasn't been in the lead yet is because the challenged ballots have prevented him from taken the lead, the numbers are looking quite good for him however and he is the favorite to win this thing.

... Supreme Court decision not to count the absentee ballot votes ( unless Coleman's gang agrees ).

Hopefully that won't be necessary, after Franken ends up ahead tomorrow. Does anyone know how many ballots fall under this original/duplicate heading that Coleman's lawyer doesn't want counted ?

Typical ... Republicans always hoping to NOT have all the legal votes counted.
