Obama has had a press conference in EACH of the last 4 days, another tomorrow.
I don't know how many he has had to date-since election day.

I count 11 in Bush's entire first term.
The November 4th was on election day and another before the second inauguration.
17 TOTAL through April 2005.

The Democrat held his fourth press conference since Nov. 4 in Chicago Wednesday morning -- his third in as many days -- an unprecedented bit of access for reporters who have grown accustomed to President Bush's infrequent moments taking questions and already surpassing the last four presidents-in-waiting.

Fishbowl DC has been keeping tabs of which media outlets have been allowed to ask a question at President-elect Barack Obama’s five press conferences so far. They report Fox News is 0-5. “Questions instead went to such outlets as ABC, New York Times, CBS, Reuters and the Associated Press.”
