Bush jams traffice yet again
I have worked in DC since 1990. I don't ever remember a President causing so many traffic problems as * has. He is down on 17th Street doing something evil I'm sure. They blocked off an entire block to traffic, they have at least 20 motorcycle cops sitting outside waiting for him, there are at least 6 patrol cars that I saw, probably more that I didn't see, and the usually assortment of limos and black SUVs. I wouldn't have even known he was there except for all the escorts. This was all for a trip of about 3 blocks. Talk about a large announcement of where he is at.

1. Most hated many in the world needs this kind of support
Everytime he came to Columbus they had to shut down the freeway
from the airport to downtown.

3. Hmmm, pedestrians were allowed. They didn't even ask people to take
their shoes off to walk by. Of course, he wasn't outside at that point.

7. For GHWB and Bubba the police made people on the streets take their hands out of their pockets...
also.

9. Afraid they were playing pocket pool while looking at Barbara?
I don't have a problem with that as long as they are outside or close by. They should do that with W too, it is too easy to pull a weapon out quickly. I have no problem with them keeping cars away from him when he is moving in the car. But when he is giving a speech in a building, and they shut down a portion of DC, I think it is over the top.

4. Not a large announcement - same ole bushit
He's bringing his 'legacy' roadshow to the American Enterprise Institute, Right now you can catch it on C-Span. He really is pitiful trying to erase the fact that he is the most hated man in the world. And he single-handedly destroyed the United States of America at every level imaginable. That, our unbeloved village idiot, will be your legacy for eons to come.

5. No Expletives can come close to how this makes me feel. The welding shut
of manhole covers, the emptying of streets in Germany for his protection, and the hauling back to the US of his body waste just simply makes me want to never ever pay taxes again.
Plus, find a way to...
OOPs I may have all my shoes picked up and more for this thought.

6. They did it for GHWB and Clinton as well.
Three blocks or three miles. Distance doesn't matter.

8. Not to the extent that they do now.
They had the police escort as they should, but I don't remember the total traffic lock down.
