I don't really give a shit about who is chosen for cabinet positions, but I am rather pleased about what's his name. Any time, shit like this comes out, and it is 'heard' and responded to, I consider it a plus. Then again, the best lessons I've learned in life have come from the worst experiences, so I'm obviously a little demented. I did the least that I could to express my thoughts through emails to the various members of the Inauguration Committee, and Obama, and I'm glad I did. Like others I doubt very much it makes any difference, but I will keep doing the very least I can. I know what kind of government I have, and I don't expect a fucking thing to change if it does not come from a large portion of 'we the people'. And therein lies the futility of it all, because there is no 'we the people'.
