SEC eagles are on the case: National Lampoon busted

The SEC has arrested and charged the CEO of National Lampoon, Daniel S. Laikin, with handing out TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in kickbacks to accomplices who bought NatLamp stock.

National Lampoon's revenues last fiscal year: $7.4 million.

Another 99,999 arrests like this and we can call it square for the Madoff fuckup. Gooo SEC!

If there's one person who knew what scams were going on and could have done something about it, it was this "supply sider"...a corrupt congresscritter who lived in the military/industrial complex pocket. As long as people were making money, no one bitched...and the SEC just stood back and let the mess get deeper. What did Cox care? He was doing the job the boooosh regime hired him to do...let the foxes run the henhouse.

The depths of the criminality in this regime is just starting to be seen...the regulators were the ones who let all this go on and not only looked the other way, but many had their hands in the pie. The fact that there was so much fraud and the SEC did zero either says how incompetent Cox is or how corrupt...probably both....it's the repugnican way.
