How would you start a petition?(Bank bailout)
Good afternoon,

This post originated with the news article below about the secrecy involved with the bank bailout.

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/M/MELTDOWN_SECRETS...

I am looking to start a petition to our congresspersons demanding transparency in regards to the $350 billion dollars that we, as taxpayers, have given to the banks.

As it stands, every day that they do not reveal what they are doing with that money makes it more and more difficult to defend against the rumors and accusations that they are engaging in some form of wrongdoing and/or that there is something that is so bad that they are afraid to tell us.

Does anyone have any hints or ideas on how to start a petition?

Thanks

1. there used to be several petition sites on the web.
They allow you to make one and then people who see it sign it and then you send it to whoever.
try Google to see which sites still exist.
