A Conversation With The Office Kool Aide Man

Yesterday though I was busy I heard the office kool aide man bitch about Obama and how he is very dangerous and will raise our taxes.

The office kool aide man yesterday said that tax breaks for the upper 5% are essential for a healthy economy so I asked him....Can you build a skyscraper from the top down....does a tree grow from the sky down.....no he said......then how do you believe that tax breaks for the rich help you and I.....he said because they then have capital to assist in developing new small business I said you have been wanting to start a small engine repair shop so would you be willing to go ask the CEO of our employer for start up cost or has any of your wealthy friends offered to help you.....NO he said... so in other words their money doesn't really TRICKLE DOWN it just stays in their pockets huh...

....FRUSTRATED he said get back to work..

We have a guy at my place of employment who guzzles the kool-aide. Everything is Obama's fault according to him. I just clamp my mouth shut and do my job because I don't feel like getting into those conversations with him. God, I hope I get the transfer I put in for, just to get away from him. Yesterday he actually pissed me off to the point that I complained to management about it.

Has trickle down economics actually helped the poor along with the upper class, or has the upper class risen while we stagnate or sink?

Who knows, he might start thinking now.

Of course, with Office Kool Aide Man(tm), logic is water off a duck's back in most cases.

Trickle-down = two recessions in one administration.

It does not work.

Greedy people who care only about money HOARD, not HIRE, when you give them taxpayer wealth.

people don't start businesses because they have the money to do so...the wealthy don't say- "well- we've got all this extra money laying around- why don't we start a business and put people to work?"

businesses get started because of DEMAND or a BETTER WAY of doing something- they get started out of a NEED, not a whim.

She keeps saying we all need to stock up on guns before Obama outlaws them. She adds that we're going to need them when Obama's people come knocking on our doors to take our money and redistribute it to poor people.

I just smile and move on. There's no hope for them and I have better things to do than argue with idiots. Although, it does frighten me that this is the mentality of the gun horders. So many firearms and so little brains...
