That's the sign above my desk.

I also have a handwritten sign posted up that says "Some stumps you just gotta plow around."

Those are both to remind of how to deal with some issues.

2. After the local news we turned to MSNBC for our KO RM fix and there was
some lovely prison programming. Phphththtphthphth (raspberry). The newspapers have all died, and I feel if they tv does not quit stalking PEBO over the Blago matter, people gone quit watching tv as well. Can't they take a hint? Bush*: low approval. Dems: win, win, win.

The I.D. channel, (Investigative Discovery?) is a lot better if you have cable.

I have virtually every channel known to humankind (I'm sick in bed enough to justify it), and 99.9% of it is unmitigated crap. Half the good stuff is public access/Free Speech TV, the rest is scattered around the channels (an apparent corporate oversight, I guess), and then out of the rest, in moments of boredom and desperation, I pick the least objectionable material.

The Violence Cha, er, Military Channel, is among the least objectionable when they're doing history. The All Crime All The Time stuff though I wouldn't touch.

Even though I do have a reason for all that cable, I still wonder if I should pull the plug.

11. Malloy's also on vacation until January 5th!
Anyone desperate for live liberal radio tomorrow though, Michelangelo Signorile on Sirius OutQ will be live tomorrow afternoon. He does a live Christmas show for everyone getting a Sirius satellite radio as a present tomorrow. OutQ is the gay channel, but Signorile does a liberal news show that just has a special emphasis on gay issues. Half or more of it doesn't have anything to do with gays.

16. The upside for me is I won't have to cram Keith, Rachel and Mike into my evenings
That's 5 hrs of liberal programing, and I do usually watch/listen to it all. I have sites bookmarked that allowed me to stream delayed broadcasts of Malloy. I can choose from live, 11pm EST and midnight EST. I should really just subscribe to NovaM so I could download his podcasts, I'm almost ready to do that, if it isn't too pricey.
