Our last, best hope.
"The Babylon Project was our last, best hope for peace.

A self-contained world five miles long, located in neutral territory. A place of commerce and diplomacy for a quarter of a million humans and aliens. A shining beacon in space . . . all alone in the night.

It was the dawn of the Third Age of Mankind – the year the Great War came upon us all.

This is the story of the last of the Babylon stations. The year is 2259. The name of the place is Babylon 5."

I feel this is the place that the current administration has brought us and that Obama is now "Or last, best hope." The U.S.'s standing in the world has declined so rapidly that I could have one time scarcely imagined it. Our economy is in taters, there are more Americans in prison than ever before, people are dying because of no option to health care. We have put an unknown variable into the mix as our last, best hope by the name of Barack Obama and can only pray that he lives up to our hopes.

I feel we live on a cusp today and I feel that the answers will become apparent within the next two years.

I just hope it's not too late.

4. Bad analogy. Earth's President was assassinated.
The President of the Earth Alliance was murdered by a corrupt rival. At the end of the first season, as I recall. And the universe was thrown into turmoil, and the heroes on Babylon 5 were forced to become underground rebels.

Are you predicting that, too?
