Our government, however, is intent on treating Iran as an enemy.

Afghanistan looks like Iraq as their U.S. enabled and protected government forges ahead with high-level contact and cooperation with our Iranian nemesis . . .

Afghan VP terms Tehran visit constructive

KABUL (IRNA) -- Afghan Vice-President Abdul Karim Khalili here on Friday evening termed his recent visit to Tehran as ""constructive and positive"".

He made the remarks while talking to reporters upon return from Tehran.

Khalili said his talks with Iranian officials focused on issues of mutual interest, including Iran's contribution to Afghan reconstruction process.

Iran and Afghanistan are two friendly and neighboring countries which share many historic, cultural, religious and linguistic commonalties, he added.

On presence of Afghan nationals in Iran, he said currently there are some two million Afghan nationals living in the Islamic illegally.

Khalili said the Iranian officials were asked not to expel the illegal Afghan refugees as long as the conditions improve.

During his stay in Tehran, Khalili met and conferred with senior officials, including President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, and his counterpart Ali Saeedlou.

U.S. troops are not fighing and dying FOR those nations. They are fighing and dying because an illegal president sent them there for a military industrial complex.

4. there is certainly a glut of war profiteers
. . . feeding off of these aggressions and occupations.

There is also the direct propping of these anti-democratic regimes in Iraq and Afghanistan behind the sacrifices (and aggression) of our military forces.
