in their annual tribute to those who died this past year said 500. A five year 'corporate drive' by earth resource boss-barons and they got the number down to 500 in Iraq this past year? What about Afghanistan?
Is the Cheney administration going to put on some kind of tribute to all the soldiers and soldier-kids who died?
After all, he is putting a number on the poor souls we subjected to or who died from our inquisition waterboarding.
After five-six years of keeping our soldier deaths obfuscated - are we going to get a tribute to them?
Or do we wait to the end of the 'corporate drive'?
Perhaps CBS should not have included the soldiers. It's got me all stirred up again and takes away from some of our heros and heroines who left us this year. There is some kind of ending with the individuals and not with our soldiers. The deaths of our own soldiers are haunting me more and more.
There will never be enough tribute for Odetta and Studs in my estimation.
Thanks to CBS for doing their annual tribute. But, it really put me in a funk again about another year and no end to the deaths of our kids. It's getting harder and harder to accept/suffer this. What/who are we?
There will never be enough tribute to our soldiers and their families.
