Freeper Irony

I was visiting FR and amused to see several posts congratulating Bristol on the birth of her baby and another post on the recent study indicating that virginity pledges don't work and may lead to irresponsible sexual behavior. They condemned the study (flies in the face of traditional family values etc.) of course and I left amused at the irony.

2. How long do you have to go since your last encounter to be a virgin again?

My girlfriend was gone TEN days over Xmas and I was wondering if that was long enough??

but possible the funny thing is I told my kids the truth and let them know I would prefer they wait before sex but if not I would support them and get them the necessary birth control. My oldest at 19 is still a virgin as is her 17 YO brother. They are thoughtful about their choices and feel they are not yet ready for the responsibility. Perhaps honesty based sex ed should replace fear based sex ed.
