A talking point we should use when the GOP filibusters
as we know they will. The current Senate is the result of three elections, 2004, 2006, and 2008. Including special elections we had 102 elections. Minnesota is as yet undecided so I listed it as a tie (since I rounded to the nearest thousand in all races it was for my purposes). The results. First, we won all three elections. In addition we won the total.

Bottom line grand total we won by over 15 million votes. And that is with them having three elections in both Mississippi and Wyoming and my having to use 100,000 votes for Arkansas race with Pryor who ran unopposed. Not only does the GOP have a minority of seats they have a distinct minority of votes and were repudiated three times. Any filibuster would be wholly illegitimate.
