Does anyone else feel the 'Cheney' imprint on the Israel plan?
I might be in left field, but many motives seem to fit Cheney's hope of engaging Iran, and Bush's desire to keep our troops in Iraq for "security purposes". We pretty much know we have two 'mental' cases still running the government for another twenty days, so this gives them the time to make the hole a little deeper for the Democratic administration, thus trying to stymie any hopes that Obama has of getting a 'clean' start. Suddenly, Israel needs to do the final push into Gaza? Doesn't add up to a plus for Israel.

1. How is that pipeline from Iraq to Israel coming along?
I can't remember if they had to rebuild an old one or if this is brand new, but one of the first things I read after the invasion was Israel's new oil via this pipeline from Iraq. I imagine Cheney has it all worked out - who needs to attack who to get desired anger from other Arabs still sitting on oil he wants. Having no interest in peace in the ME, he's probably enjoying all this and ensuring Israel has whatever it needs to fight his prozy war and draw in the others on the axis of evil so he can finally send in those bunkerbusters to Iran. Don't mind me ...... a little too much coffee, but I do see his snear and the Bush smirk all over this, essential to start more suffering before Obama can get in to prevent damage already done. jmo.
