I don't think Bush could have screwed up this country more if he tried.
In fact considering how incompetent he is, I wish he had tried, it wouldn't have been this bad.

1. I wonder that myself
What if he actually tried to destroy the country - would things have turned out better?

2. Yeah, well...
I was expecting that a nuclear device would have been used somewhere by this time.
It could have been worse...

3. Be grateful he didn't manage to privatize social security.
Can you imagine the panic in this country right now if he had?

Amen to that. I was so worried about my retired parents when
all that privatization talk was going on.

I'm also glad he didn't manage to sell our ports.

12. well as a boomer, hoping to retire in about 8 years
I don't think social security is gonna be there. They'll be wailin and gnashin of teeth, but the haves in Washington will find a reason to end it. Then what?

this administration has accomplished exactly what it was sent out to do, end the American dream, and not just the owning a home, but the rule of law. I personally think we're screwn big time. I hope I'm wrong but I'm living day to day thinking I'm right.

"bankrupt the government so that you can drown it in a bathtub"

Fortunately, Bush is still an incompetent.

9. What do you mean "if". It's clear to me that the Repukes planned to steal all the money and run.
As for destroying our civil liberties, they made a good start. They just didn't count on the American people saying no. Thought that "terrorism" thing would allow them to destroy the Constitution and no one would stop them.

10. Never underestimate the incompetence or corruption of Republicans
You will always be even further disappointed eventually.

he tried everything he could think of to destroy us and I think he did a great job. You must be doing ok because I have never seen anything this bad and frustrating and discouraging and awful and upside-down and unfair and backwards and fucked up. The PNAC's last move for this country is major war and were on the way, Pick it- Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel/ Palestine, Pakistan/India I understand your concept about it being worse but I think your already conditioned. God Help Us All. And I am not even religious !
