What do you think will happen to Harry Smith of CBS for his questioning of Tony Snow ?
I just watched the video clip of Harry Smith questioning Tony Snow, and he questioned him with the most ferocity I've seen out of a corporate media reporter in YEARS. Do you think he will get reprimanded and/or threatened for that ? Or do you think his behavior was sanctioned by the powers that be at CBS ?

Also, those reporters and media stations that stand up now will get a massive ratings increase very soon. we are at a tipping point IMO.

5. Katie Couric will be dispatched... to give him a "talkin to"
:eyes:

Personally, I'd consider watching CBS nightly news if they'd bump the little drama queen for Smith... Of course they won't do that...

demanding his resignation. Harry Smith has been around for a long time. He may be OK. I also thought Dan Rather would be OK though.:(

21. Just to be careful Harry, stay away from small planes and open windows in tall buildings...
To have a member of the MSM push back against the official liar for this Administration is tolerated well by Karl and his White House buddies.

I am betting Harry won't be getting another Snowjob interview anytime soon, unless Harry is willing to say he was wrong from bended knee, and kiss the ring finger of the official source of alternate reality news.

28. Hmm...that reminds me about a joke about the kid who asked the chimp too many good questions

El Chimpo George W. Bush goes to a primary school to talk to the kids to
get a little good press.

After his talk he offers question time. One little boy puts up his hand
and George asks him his name. "Stanley," responds the little boy.
"And what is your question, Stanley?" "I have 4 questions: First, why
did the USA invade Iraq without the support of the UN? Second, why are
you President when Al Gore got more votes? Third, whatever happened to
Osama Bin Laden?" Fourth, why are we so worried about gay-marriage when
1/2 of all Americans don't have health insurance?
Just then, the bell rings for recess. President Bush informs the kiddies
that they will continue after recess. When they resume George says,
"OK, where were we? Oh, that's right, question time. Who has a
question?" Another little boy puts up his hand. George points him out
and asks him his name. "Steve," he responds.
"And what is your question, Steve?"

"Actually, I have 6 questions. First, why did the USA invade Iraq
without the support of the UN? Second, why are you President when Al
Gore got more votes? Third, whatever happened to Osama Bin Laden?
Fourth, why are we so worried about gay marriage when 1/2 of all
Americans don't have health insurance? Fifth, why did the recess bell go
off 20 minutes early? And sixth, what the hell happened to Stanley?"

22. Harry Smith nailed it...A Chat. Maybe the boys can have it over
a coupla brewskis, sneak in some cigs, have a coupla laughs.

NO, I want an OPEN, TRANSPARENT GOVERNMENT.

And I have never seen anyone swagger sitting still. Tony Snow is so impressed with himself. Maybe that's why freepers are impressed with these slimes.

27. I don't think Harry Smith is known for being particularly liberal or partisan. Is he?
I confess that I haven't regularly watched the major networks in years and years. But in the days when that's all I could get, I remembered Harry Smith from the morning news and that he was pretty easy-going, non-partisan, and certainly not known for being liberal. I don't think he's had the same reputation as Dan Rather.
