George H. W. Bush: I’d like to see Jeb elected President.»
:banghead::banghead:

George H. W. Bush: I’d like to see Jeb elected President.»

This morning on Fox News Sunday, host Chris Wallace asked former President George H.W. Bush about the possibility of his son, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, running for Senate. The former president expressed his hope that Jeb would run and then told Wallace that he’d ultimately like to see Jeb elected President:

WALLACE: In terms of public service and ability to help the country, you’d like to see run ?

H. W. BUSH: I’d like to see him run, I’d like to see him be president someday, or maybe senator, whatever.

In an apparent reference to the current President Bush’s unpopularity, H. W. Bush then joked, “I mean, right now is probably a bad time. We’ve had enough Bushs in there.”

Either way, though, you're right. Nobody give a flying you-know-what about anything that doofus or any of his inbred family thinks.

8. Of course he does
and Jeb thinks the presidency is his birthright by virtue of being the next Bush heir to the throne. Jeb will win the Senate seat in 2010, then make a no-holds-barred runfor the White House in 2012 or 2016 if Obama is a shoo-in for re-election.

America had enough 'Bushes in there' back in 1992. I've also read that Jeb was the one that Bush Senior thought would become president.

23. I can tell you don't hail from Flori-duh
Jeb is still popular in this state and currently looks to be the strongest contender for the 2010 Senate seat. While relaxing in his Senate office Jeb can plot his path to the White House, and he will have a fleet of servile minions to smooth his way, just as Dubya did. Don't think for a minute it can't happen; we didn't think the election-stealing machinations of 2000 or 2004 could happen, but they did. Don't count the Bush dynasty out yet.

26. Your analysis sounds accurate, which is disturbing because the entire
Bush clan is a pack of thieves and incompetents.

My hope, though, is that Obama's first term is a string of decidedly impressive triumphs of good deeds and public approval, obviating a strong challenge in 2012 from the Pukes.

21. I'm sure he would like to see the Bush Crime Family extend their power ...
to be able to continue to cover up their crimes and rewrite history with Bushes as heroes. Sorry Bushies, I'm reading the Russ Baker book right now, and the JIG is UP!!!

Note: EVERYONE should read Russ Baker's Family of Secrets. Although I was already aware of a lot of the info in this book, Baker fits the pieces together like never before. It is a devastating indictment of the Bush-Walker Syndicate.

22. Bush family men are dishonorable men
They have all been linked to bank scandals or insider trading, or both, and they are clearly the product of poor parenting going back to the Nazi traitor grandfather Prescott. Dump them off in private school end all parenting responsibilities. No wonder they are so corrupt and such assholes.

24. Well I hope he isn't planning on a repeat of Florida...
Edited on Sun Jan-04-09 11:44 AM by Baby Snooks
Even the Republicans in Florida are looking at the disaster area that Florida has become as a result of Jeb Bush and his "local version" of oligarchy and are waking up finally.

I doubt any Bush could carry Florida. Jeb in particular would be lucky to get 21% of the vote of those who still support George W Bush if in fact that 21% is reflective of how Republicans as well as Democrats in Florida view him.

I doubt 21% support George W Bush simply because of Jeb Bush and what he did to Florida. I definitely doubt 21% would support Jeb Bush.

That 21% that still support George W Bush is not what is important. What is important is the 79% who don't. They not only don't support George W Bush they don't support the Bushes. And never will.

And some of them won't support the Clintons either. For the obvious reason.

28. I respectfully disagree
Don't let Obama's Florida win fool you; Jeb is still popular in this state and the strongest contender for the 2010 Senate seat. His expected competition are lackluster in comparison. Don't be surprised when he wins.

35. No kidding.
This gives me an idea for a new reality show.
The whole * family could star in the first season.
The name of the show: "Family Lock-up".

And for variety the location of the prison could change from one foreign country to another just for fun.

Edited on Sun Jan-04-09 01:43 PM by Joanne98
Maybe with Palin as VP. We need to start planning for this now. If we stop Jeb for Senate in Florida, it will be harder to run in 2012. But that doesn't mean he won't do it anyway.

We need to get George W Bush for war crimes and destroy the BFEE forever. That's the only way.
